Spring - 'My Favourite Time Of The Year'

  

Don't be too hard on yourself if you overindulged this Winter. We can all fall into that trap of hibernating in the winter months and eating a few too many treats even though we know we shouldn't. But hey the past is the past. Spring is here and it's time to press pause and reset your goals. The mornings are getting lighter and the days are getting warmer. Summer will be here before you know it.

 As a Personal Trainer and Pilates Instructor for nearly 10 years now I can personally say I think I have heard every excuse there is:

  

  •     I Don't Have Enough Time
  •     I Have Too Many Special Occasions Coming Up .... Maybe Next Month
  •     I'm Too Old To Exercise
  •     I Have To Get Fit Before I Come Train With You
  •     My Knees Hurt
  •     I Don't Have The Energy
  •     I'm Saving For A Holiday

  

But the truth is these are All Just Excuses!

So whatever excuses you are using to convince yourself that you can't commit to exercise and getting fitter and healthier, you just need to change your mindset. Start to believe in yourself and put yourself first. Make an appointment with yourself just as you would a doctor or dentist appointment.

  

I guarantee you the benefits will out way the excuses. You will have more energy once you start exercising, your knees will feel better as you lose a few kilos and you will look and feel a thousand times better about yourself on your holiday.
